What is Story Wars?
Story Wars is an original impromptu storytelling competition that combines spontaneity and creativity.
Writers compete over three rounds to be crowned winner of the night! Between the time crunch and some friendly competition, you’ll be forced you to stop overthinking and trust your instinct.
Story Wars offers a high-energy and welcoming space for you to connect through shared creative action.
How Does it Work?
Story Wars is comprised of three rounds. At the start of each round, a random prompt is drawn. Writers then get 5 minutes to create their story. When time is up, each writer will read their creation to the audience!
We believe in democratizing creativity, so votes are cast by the audience to determine the winners.
There are two ways to win at Story Wars. You can win a round’s superlative, or the overall spot.
